Delete your account

You can delete your Ramathan Contests account and its data at any time.

In the app

Open the app, then Account, then Delete account, and enter the code we email you.

On the website

Sign in at ramathan.com, open your page and choose Delete account, then enter the code we email you.

What we delete and what we keep

We keep your account data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account, then Delete account) after entering a code we email you. Deleting removes your account, ID check data, phone number, Ramadan Table photos and game results, except what the law requires us to keep. An account cannot be deleted while a prize is waiting to be collected.

Children in a family account move, with their scores and lanterns, to the other parent in the family if there is one; otherwise they are deleted with the account.

After deletion we keep, for 90 days, a one-way encrypted fingerprint of the civil ID number (not the number itself, and no name), so the same person cannot delete their account and sign up again for extra tries in the same season. Then we delete it.
