Terms of Use

By using the Ramathan Contests platform (ramathan.com and its apps) you agree to these terms. The platform is run by Tothiq AI Services & Solutions in the State of Kuwait, which owns the platform and its content. The Arabic version of these terms is the reference version.

Taking part

• Taking part is open to residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. It starts with the State of Kuwait, and the other countries will be added in turn.
• The account holder must be 18 years old or older.
• Children take part through the family account run by the father or mother.
• Each person has one account only, and the same child may not be added to more than one family.

Identity check

• The account holder must confirm their email and then check their identity with the Lumex service before taking part.
• The data given must be correct and match the Civil ID or ID card.
• An account is refused if its card number is already used by another account.

Games and contests

• The rules and times of each game and contest are announced on the platform.
• A player collects the lantern from the same place once a night, and only when at the place. The number needed of each lantern is shown on the game page.
• Cheating, automated programs, multiple accounts or anything that harms fair play are not allowed. We may exclude anyone who breaks this rule and cancel their points and prizes.
• The decisions of the platform and its judges on choosing the winners are final.

The Ramadan Table contest

• The photo must be taken by you, and it must be decent and suitable for the family.
• Every photo is reviewed before it is published, and we may refuse any photo without giving reasons.
• The photo stays yours, and you give us the right to show it on the platform and when announcing the contest and its results.

Prizes

• Prizes are given by the sponsors or by the platform, and each prize is described when it is announced.
• The prize is handed to the winner in person after matching their Civil ID, or to their parent if the winner is a child.
• Prizes are personal. They cannot be exchanged for cash or passed to another person, unless the prize says otherwise.
• If the winner does not collect the prize within 30 days of being told, we may cancel it.

Intellectual property

All the games, designs, texts and logos on the platform belong to Tothiq and may not be copied or used without written permission.

Stopping an account

We may stop or delete any account that breaks these terms, gives incorrect data or harms other users.

Limits of liability

We provide the platform as it is. We work to keep it running without interruption, but we do not guarantee that. We are not responsible for any loss caused by a service interruption or by using the platform against these terms.

Changes

We may change these terms and will publish the new date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and the courts of Kuwait decide any dispute arising from them.
